No plans for the car for the future really, just want to get it through the MOT in July! Maybe a Stage 1 kit and a CD player next year, but not essential really!

This is the 1991 Mini Cooper i just bought. first thing is to evict the tinworm from the shell. and then get it back to almost standard.. its been reduced to a 998. but im keeping it that way for the time being.. i have plans that i need a 998 for.. i have a new stainless exhaust system ready. will fit wider arches, 13"x7 deep dish wheels. Hi-lo cones and Gaz suspension. Mini Sport alloy 4 pot calipers. vented discs, braided hoses. all the small bits really. things to make it stop. and sound nice for the time being... mind you just getting it roadworthy is enough for me right now..

just found out from a classic car restorer, that the mini cooper i bought is something a bit special. it seems to be a RSP Cooper. the Chassis number is right. and looking through the box of bits, i keep finding the right badges and bits in there.. so my whole idea of customising it, and flip fronting it went out the window.. has to go back to standard.. major grumbles.... will have to find another one to play with after this..
