Mini city E that has been well and truly modded. Loads of rot removed and replaced with good metal. 1275 MG metro lump with tuning kit and RC40, the only exhaust for a mini! Now trophey blue with pearl white camaro stripes. Late cooper black leather interior with pimps palace lined roof on the cards. The picture is old and still has the buckets in but im getting too old for these now hence the cooper seats. Been lowered inch and half at back now too.

my mate's got a advantage that WAS completely standard bar the head unit, only 38k miles, no rust. There's another near me too, that looks standard apart from alloys, looks nice.

Hi people!

I'm not otr yet with a mini but am working on a project 998 City [1984], and have done lots of welding and panel replacement. There's much general engineering still to be done. Have run several minis ovr the years but this one, bought as a non -runner has some basic external tweaks to the engine. No idea of its internals. I've been away from the mini scene for 20yrs, so please bear wth me!

Obvious mods I can see are:
water heated HS4 manifold
LCB exhaust +Peco
Minilites
BL recliner seats -wow!

This is to be a basic, useable min with emphasis on reliability mods.

Best regs

What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?
Also what are your plans  !

hello all, chuffed to able be able to register now that something seems to have been fixed stopping me from registering before. Thanks.
My mini is a '92 mayfair I bought about two years ago after feeling the pull from the rusty wreck sitting unloved on someones driveway after failing it's MOT. ( drove about in a few mini's many moons ago when i was a lot younger) the previous person had bought the mini from some unscupulous dealer who had bodged and sprayed it up to look good temporarily. I started replacing the sills then repaired the floor and inner sills, then the inner front wheel arches, rear valance, then......
I'd started so I had to finish, love runs deep. Anyway, I have since MOT'd it and now have started to add a few things on, solid rear mounting brackets to the rear of the front sub-frame? LCB exhaust, racing front disc pads, woolferace slotted 13" alloys and 165/55 tyres. Nangkangs, horrible in the wet. plus a few other things that needed replacing after it's 2 year sleep. It's going to need a couple of front wings and a scuttle soon but I'm going to use it before it gets taken off the road again, I drive it every day and it's great the boy racers in their corsa's etc always want to race and all the classic mini owners in the area always wave, a big hello to all of them.
