I drive a 1991 998 racing green. I already own it now for 2.5 years. I don a lot of work on it. Forinstance engine overhaul, gearbox overhaul, front suspension overhaul, etc.

'91 Rover Cooper (carb), K&N filter, 2" centre pipe with no cat, electronic ignition, 13x7 wheels, 4 spots, twin airhorns. Just had loads of welding, new panels, bodywork and paint. Airbrushed roof. Had it since 2002, plan is to just use it more and look after it better...

Just purchased a 1998 Rover Mini 1.3 MPI (Vernon).

5700 miles from new - two old lady owner - yes really. He is in mint condition but I plan putting on a set of revolution 4 spokes in silver, a couple of spots.

He does need a lift and he is booked in for new HiLows all round.

Thanks to everyone on the forum for the information I gained prior to adopting Vernon.

Hey! I don't really know much about my mini. I bought it last year, October '09, through a consignment at an import dealership in Monterey, California. The dealership said that the previous owner mentioned it had been imported a year and a half before so around May of '08? Other than it's a '71, I really don't know much else. The engine has been updated. A passer by said it looked like I had an early 90's interior upgrade. I'm about to swap out the rubber cones for intermediate springs, and long term goal is to drop in a vtec. My dad got me interested in minis about 5 years ago and I was finally able to get one!

and iv just bin donated a red mini 1000 city auto by my father in law, its in pretty good nick other than the inside boot tray.

plans for the car are full respray in black, new wheels 6x13", 2 race seats only, roll cage and 4 point harnesses, 1275 engine with tweeks,manual gear box,
uprated brakes, and that should keep my going for a while,

I have a 1979 Clubman GT in ratty satin black
1293cc, Stage 4 head, SW10 cam, Swiftune duplex chain, 1.5:1 rollers, Weber 45, facet fuel pump and filter king regulator. 95bhp and 92lbs ot torque.
She makes me totally happy

Things to do:
Just about to sort out the exhaust gasket which is blowing
and replacing the exhaust with something a bit more free flowing.

Then its panel replacing and respraying time!

i drive a black 1991 1.0 mini which has the number eight which is black on a white background,this is located on both sides. im looking to change the engine to a 1.3, but as im new to this ill need some help. i would love to hear from people who have done conversions before =)

hey im mini8ball.

ive seen what the vtec mini can do on youtube and its really got me excited about how amazing these little machines are, id love to drop a vtec into mine, ive only had it a week now but ive already fallen in love with it. it has a sporty sound due to the large central exhaust so i would like the car to have some bite to add to its bark.
