This is my recently finished project. Codename Z3d. Although it is tax and MOT'd, it isnt finished yet, needs some trim and carpets etc but i thought i'd get some pictures up as its my first resto and i did the whole lot, welding, spraying etc.

What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?

Hey there new to the sight, While I was stationed in the UK I had a 91 Mini Cooper and had a 1978 Mini Panel Van in restoration with a rebuilt 1274 engine. Got orders back to the US and was forced to leave them behind. The Cooper was to new to ship and the van was not completed. I got ripped off and now I have niether, but still looking

Where were you stationed? I'm at RAF Mildenhall. Anyhow, I drive a 1982 Mini Mayfair

Plans are basically the usual mods with a few tricks up my sleeve added in. I am planning on swapping the 998 for an MPi Cooper S engine/gearbox.....

Ive got a 1987 Austin Mayfair with 19,000 miles on the clock had it since 14,500. 998 engine, 10X5" revolution wheels, crosses same colour as car, uprated engine bushes, little mods here and there, runs like a little sewing mechine!!!

Mini 1996 spi special edition in almond green.

Hi my minis name is Alfie and i have plans to make him 'perfect' inside and out.

The bodywork isnt too bad he has a bit of a hole in the drivers floorpan/inner seal and rust around the headlights..

I plan to get some halogen spots and headlights, clear rear lights and side repeaters, a playmini twin exit stainless steel exhaust, and lots & lots of shiny chrome bits, but i plan to keep him quite original.

im new on here so this will probs screw up but here it is... its a 1989 mayfair with 1150ish cc block lightened flywheel of somesort, aldon distributor, 12g295 cylinder head or whatever it is (one my brother got hold of off his mate for free) some snazzy crank from an 1100 i think or somthing like that, maniflow manifold but not sure which it is and stainless exhaust. metro turbo brakes with goodrige hoses. ermmm 13x7 ultralites with yoko a539's and oon the inside just got the corbeau bucket seats and a dash my brother made and painted gloss white. got tim volts, vacuum and oil pressure gauges. then just my sterio stuff (some good jvc sterio its pretty raaad but dont know what its called, some 6x9's and some small kenwood speakers in the dash to replace the air vents and a vibe amp in the boot. just going to say the reason i dont know stuff about my car is because the car used to be my brothers but i bought it off him... i only know a little bit about the engine because i bought the bits and he built it for me for me to have. the engine is brand new and has done just over 400 miles. the car itself has done just over 30k miles and the only bit of rust is on the left a pannel and bottom of door but the rest has just been restored obveously apart from what i just said this is my firstcar and alredy ive been through a lot with it such as the clutch pedal biting point going right to the bottom and not being able to get 1st or 2nd gear in busy traffic up a hill. spinning it in ice up a hill and wrecking a wheel (was trying to keep speed up a hill so i didnt go back down). ....worst built car in the world probs and a bit of a pain but love it to bits ... and just want to send a thanks to my brother tom for making this possible even though he probs wont read this  my_mini_3.JPG   704.11K   13 downloads  my_mini_4.JPG   741.42K   9 downloads

hello all
im new to the mini scene as i bought a 1989 flame red 998cc in november 2008 ready to use as my first car
she is not chaved she is going to have a 2" custom stainless manifod paired with a 2" copper pipewith a sportex side exit by the end of the year. she has slightly wider arches as she has wider wheels 165/70 R12's minilites other than that she is standard and im open to idea's about makin her a bit nipier

hi i have a mini mayfair 1988. the mods i have done are new engine 1293cc fitted with a m45 supercharger on it. also 6x12 alloy wheels covered with group 2 arches.
