What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?

I have a 1970 Mk 2 Cooper S, Conaught green in colour, I think it was built in Enfield NSW Australia
I have had the car for 20 years. It is in the garage about to undergo a restoration.
Ive owned a few minis right from an 850 long gear shift to a Clubman GT.
Theres not too many things I havent done to a brick and happy to offer advice to assist
The Cooper has Spax all round, 1275 out to 1310 648 cam, P and P head, LCB extractors, 2" exhaust, long branch manifold and webber, Fitted with Contessa's. It was pretty competitive with other minis in the car club many years ago, but I got a bit smart and realised its value and put it to bed for a while.

As I said, there will be a restoration shortly as Im about to retire. The only thing Im disappointed in is that I bored it out 60 thou, , so it wont be original

just got it today mini 1000 ,its got centre exhaust with twin exit quite loud,old style spoked wide wheels ,needs tidy inside only,outside brand new everything .its got s u carb with k n chrome filter.

Hey there new to the sight, While I was stationed in the UK I had a 91 Mini Cooper and had a 1978 Mini Panel Van in restoration with a rebuilt 1274 engine. Got orders back to the US and was forced to leave them behind. The Cooper was to new to ship and the van was not completed. I got ripped off and now I have niether, but still looking

hi i am new to forum but not the world of minis but i must say since the last time i had one the ways in which they are moded has changed.I am currently starting out on a mini 30th ann model which i have just got to the stage were i can now say its soilid once subframes are clean degreased and painted they will be refitted with new parts then the engine and brakes brakes are easy the engine is another matter not sure which way to turn an this not a fan of hybrids and the last bike engine one i had made too much noise to use day to day but super charging sounds like fun and not had a super charged mini before it currently has a morris marina 1275 engine in so some one been playing before i got it will keep you all updated thats if anyone interested later

its a 1978 minivan half way through a restoration,its going back to its original colour and spec with a upgrade on the engine
