Just replaced rear subby, what a job eh? Where the subframe connects the the floorpan/sills area was totally rotted, had to make custom steel plates- re-weld em on. I have a 1976 Austin Mini 1000 LE, which is red/orange. I'm not sure if this is a model that was out in the U.K? Basically it has only had better condition front seats put in and at some point the original radio was removed. I have also added armrests and it has Dunlop D1 mags. I plan to keep it mostly original, with an extra bonnet that I hope will be fibreglass. - On that bonnet I want to put an Air-scoop and a 'Flying A' badge from an old Austin.
I also have a 1993 Morris Mini Clubman, which is a horrible orange colour. It has been stripped down and the previous owner has started putting it back together. It's 1100cc engine has been Dyno-tuned, and is running perfectly. I have a set of Cooper S Reverse Rims which i hope to put on it someday. In the future I plan to either get it road legal and just thrash it over the awesome gravel country roads we have over here and fully strip it down after and rebuild it completely. The other idea is to strip it down again and take it to my work, Imaginairing (a world-famous paint sprayers) and respray it in House of Kolors Tangerine Candy paint, and amongst other things, put in a 2L racing Alfa Romeo boxer engine.
*I may swap the engine from the 'Clubman' into the 'Mini', because the 'Mini's engine isn't running good, and the 'Clubman' isn't road legal anyways.

Hi im Philip,

Ive recently bought a 1999 Cooper Sportspack to use as my daily driver.
Im not planning on massive changes to it, id like a stage 1 kit, a couple of new bumpers, a sump guard and a GB badge. Im planning on keeping it fairly standard as i have to use it everyday although i quite fancy some deep dish alloys and may look to extract a little more power once the stage one is on :P

I live in Newcastle and mainly travel between there and Morpeth for work so if you see me give me a wave :)

Im fairly green when it comes to mechanics for cars but sometimes find i actually understand things when they are explained just didnt realise i did :ermm: so no doubt Mini ownership is going to be a steep learning curve for me although id still take that over the C4 i got rid of to buy Reggie :)

Here he is down by the rocks, so much sea salt you could almost here his bodywork fizzing :)
