Ive just bought a 1989 998 mini its my first mini. I wont to make a really good job of it and hope it comes out as good as all yours out there. Have you got any ideas of what i could do whit it?

Im on mini number 3 now. 1998 Paul Smith. All origional Paul smith bits (green everything, denim tool bag, origional rear window sticker)
Its got 5x12 superlights on it, superfines, 4 spots wired to main beam (which will be gone soon) and a hidious twin DTM exhaust. A side exit DTM will replace (likes of janspeed or RC40)
Mk1 front end is looking possible along with wider arches and 10 inch wheels. Heres some pics.

Finally I am a member!! I have a new mini one, and it has just been lowered and thats about it for now!! Hope to get the extra spot lights for the grill and hopefully some different alloys, really like the cooper works wheels! The main reason for joining this forum was to see if any one has fitted a sound system in there new mini including a sub?? Its a very expensive job!

We have just bought a project mini, its a 1984 998 Yellow Mayfair

Going to put it back to standard we think (depends how involved adam gets haha)

When we start it I will put it in the restoration bit so people can be nosey if they want!!

I drive a 1985 mini city with a nice beige kind of light brown interior,
will be getting my liscence soon so i'll out n about around essex asap
im trying to keep it original but some sod thought they'd jump on my car on friday night..
luckily enough the bonnet and roof can be punched through or hammered

Hey I've just joined the forum and i drive a yellow 1983 mini sprite. The car itself is fairly standard the small modifications i have done are all totally reversible. The car itself is in great conditon, having sat in a barn for 12 years there is very minimal rust on a few panels. The car has only done 25,000 miles and drives like a dream. I'd like to hear of any other 1983 sprite owners as i have only ever seen one after months of searching. Hope you like the pics!

I got a mini red hot WOO!

got it for £950 and its in such good condition. from what i can tell its had a respray just a while back and the interior is all new. my plans for it is to clean up the engine bay to make it look smart and respectable then onto exterior and interior although im new so im still learning.

by the way thats not my mini in my picture. its what i want it to look like though!

Mini City E 1000, Red with a red and white chequered roof. Lots of Chrome. No real mods made by my self but the young lad who owned it before had put a big cheery bomb exhaust on it. lol I have only owned my mini for three months. I am hoever very close to opting to fit a stage 1 kit. i'll keep you posted on what i decide to do in the future. )

paid £500 quid for a burgundy Mini City E 1000 (Ruby),
condition is wicked engine had a few problems which came to about 200 quid..
it came with spare doors, boot and bonnet and a full 998 exhaust,
Anyone going to the london to brighton this month,

I'm hoping to go to the 50th IMM celebration in birmingham but i am unsure wether to book tickets because i may or may not have passed my driving test before then.
