Well, I'm from the U.S. (Indiana) and purchased my first MINI MCS in 2005. Mini #2 (1995 Cooper) arrived from New Zealand in 2006, finally #3 a 2008 MCS for my wife. I have been given a fellowship to travel to England for the 50th Anniversary and visit sites important in the histroy of Mini. Any ideas?

What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?
Also what are your plans  !

Hello from sunny Florida, USA. I have, what appears to be a 1994 Cooper Monte Carlo LE (Japanese version), registered as a 1967 Austin Mini. It has the standard Monte interior (red and cream) but the outside color is British Racing Green. It seems to be in fairly decent conditions. I am hoping for this to be one of my retirement projects. I had never owned mini before, but years ago I had played with a Sprite and a Midget.
I am currently trying to replace a CV joint boot and I have a minor issue with the ECU.
I have reading the forums and I have found them very informative and useful. So, I decided to join.

Cheers!

Hi there
I'm Dominic, 18, and from the hull area. I'm relatively new to all this forum stuff but have loved minis since i can remember.
I have a 1974 mini 1000 in tundra green almost complete from restoration and i have a 1973 mini clubman with mg metro engine fitted waiting for restoration.
The 1000 has had a long drawn out resto done due to lack of money really and short of time. It was started of march 06 after i got it for my birthday. All rust has been replaced and got rid of and its as solid as can be. its got a rally theme to it and when complete should look the dog *man danglies*. It currently has: just been painted with a cage fitted, stripped out interior, fuel and brake lines running inside car, battery lead inside car, nice switch console (not over the top, just the bare essentials in a simple alloy plate), de-bumpered front and rear, mk1 grill (no mustache surround!), etc. When completed it will have: 10x6 weller steels, group 2 arches, spot lights, fiberglass doors and corbeau fonza buckets.
The clubman is going to go down the similar kinda road as a fast road rally car. It will have a big beefy engine and the stripped out rally look. Its currently tucked up in the corner of our workshop looking a bit sorry for its poor self with fair bit of rust knocking about and has received a slight rear shunt in its previous life.
Hopefully the mini 1000 will be finished in the early new year and i will look forwards to seeing all of you at the 50th celebrations.

Hope you like my minis

All the best, Dominic

since my first post about my mini's, i have sold the clubman due to last of funds. so now i am just left with my old trusty 1000.

heres a picture of here at present

Hi gang I drive a 1992 Italian Job mini (White) I got it September 2008 and have been working on it ever since. So far I have done a lot of body work and redone the inside with a red carpet and at the minute Im making my own dashboard in red to match the rest. I have completely taken off the front end fitted an oil cooler and some new HT leads. Im also trying to fit a fibreglass front end. Once thats all done its getting resprayed back to the original white along with a few nice touches. I better get a move on as I have a ticket for the 2009 London to Brighton run !
