These are mine mini's:

a 1989 flame red 998cc bog standard saloon, it's my wife's summercar, this summer it will be fully restaured and resprayed, al lot of welding is done at this time.

then my oldest daugther (15 years old) ownes this black bodyshell, it's absolutely rust-free, only one door is missing.summer 2011 it must be ready, then she is 18 and she hopes to get her driving licence at that time...

the thirt mini is a 1978 mini saloon, my own summer-driver, it has a 998cc engine with a handmade stainless-exhaust, twin hs2 carbs, a modified camshaft, 3,44 diff, and was 2 years ago fully build by myself, i'm offcourse very proud of it...

This is my mini at the moment.

I've had the Mini Mayfair for just under 2months. I haven't done anything to the engine at all yet...

I have added the; stripes, seat covers, wiper blades and rally names myself.

It is a Hreg, as you can see, including a sentimental numberplate! Has only done 7,864miles since new. I have got paperwork, which shows it has been validated and MOT'd every 12months, and for the last 10years! =]

I frigging love it!

Regards,
Figlet

I have a 1985 Mini City E 998cc. Quite a few modifications done by previous owner, such as; big bore exhaust, different air filter, adjustable shocks (i think, thats what the guy said anyway not checked yet), galvanized rear sub frame, Cobra Monaco seats and i think its an electric fan that has been fitted, my guess was that it is for the 1380 engine that was fitted before the 998. Oh and cosmetically it has been made to look like a cooper.

I have a 1972 Austin Mini with metro 1300 engine, one look at the car and seeing the mess I decided to call it Albert (same as Einstein's hair).

You can see the car and my future plans, as well as follow my progress on in here

Hi all!! This is my mini.. Its a 92 city and i've her mildly tuned. The spec is 998 HIF38 Stage 1, Manilfow system, elecky ignition. It has just turned 44000 miles and dynoed at 48.9bhp at the fly :yinyang:

I bought it two years ago and it was a total granny car.. so i set about doing it up a bit. Engine 1st and then i turned to the interior. Its my 2nd mini as i had a black designer before (which my dad now has).

Took an aul gamble and decided to put a red interior in it and i think it turned out quite well..? The door cards made by retro retrims are dark denim and red vinyl below which matches the cobra buckets.

Plans are to sort the wee rusty bits out this summer and if i can afford it mabye eaton supercharge her!! Its my daily driver so its got to be reliable tho!!

Hey, got myself a mini tahiti just before xmas for my first car, shes a pure babe ! ;D

mechanically sound just has the odd bit of rust as you'd expect, which for the past few weeks (when i have time) ive been cleaning up just a shame that the bodywork has been half arsed by people who used to own her :shifty:

anyways plans are for a stage 1, some bullet mirrors, spots but other than that i'm keeping her original .... ;D

G'day from Oz,
Found the site from ausmini.com.au.
I drive a 1973 Aussie Leyland Mini 'S' 1100 (Clubman) with 12" minilites.
It is a project and have recently completed the interior incl just about new everything : seats from a 1990 Toyota Celica, wooden dash from a 1994 Rover, new carpet, headling, rubbers, seatbelts, Alpine stereo
Next project is a disc brake front end.
Just joined and looking forward to some interesting discussions
