Hi Andy still trying to source original partsHi, My name's Andy and i own a Black Mini Thirty, which is currently undergoing a partial re-build in my garage, plans are to return the car to original condition with a few subtle mods, such as a wooden dash, stage 1 kit. Hoping to have it back on the road before the end of the year - that's if i don't find anymore holes! - Is it me or the later Rover cars worse for rusting??

I am in South Carolina, USA. I own a 1968 Riley Elf which is currently undergoing a complete rebuild, at the completion of which it will have a D15 Honda VTEC engine, disc brakes, coil sprung supension, left hand drive, air conditioning, twin fuel tanks, 13 inch wheels, arches, and a new Damask Red and Whitehall Beige paint job. Next job will be the interior, when my wallet recovers a bit.

He's wrong. Let's see pictures of your new baby.1994 Mini 35, 12 months MOT 6 months tax, its mint condition with no rust at all. Its got 35000 miles and I paid £1200 for her, My hubby thinks I paid way too much for a 15 year old year old Mini and would love someonelse who knows about Minis to tell him he's wrong.

she's beautiful! i'm a big fan of the 35's since i'm the proud owner of one myself i have the pinky red version though
and £1200 is nothing if it's rust free and with so low mileage it's an investment

I'm Bishop Maverick (Ben's my real name)
I just bought an 1990 mini flame, in immaculate condition apart from the a panel which had a rusty hole, a that quickly turned rusty in the passenger door, very sweet runner though... And has some goodies.
Planning to restore when I get the chance
Enjoy your minis I know I love mine,
Bishop M.
ps. will upload some piccys when I get a chance but the camera has been set up for some portraits of a friend I'm doing this weekend.
