Hi im David from Chester, my mini is a 998 John Cooper Conversion in flame red registered in 1990. There dont seem to be many of these around, I bought it off the original owners 12 months ago and it is in standard condition.

hi iam reece i drive a blue mini city e with a union jack on the roof. my mods so far are a 2" straight through twin dtm exhaust with a 28mm/38mm twin choke downdraft weber. running front disk conversion and cooper s reverse rims.

I'm driving a Rover mini cooper 1275.
(I call him Henry)

Henry's previous owner added a stage 1 kit to him.

I'm in the process of a near enough full resto including:
Fibre glass one piece flip front,
Spot lights,
Radiator and fan conversion to the front of the engine,
New carb,
Full resto on interior,
Resto of all four mini lites.

Stage 1 kits Rc 40

Red Angel lights

HT cables and clear Dissy cap
and thats about it at the mo, i don't wanner do too much cus its a italian job one so im think of getting another one soon

i was driving a mini mayfair 1275 1993
till it was poorly
now in the garage

plans
currently
replacing wireing loom
cleaning whole car
welding new inner + outer sills
floor pan
replacing shocks
repairing radius arms
flatting back whole car and a full re-spray in nice red not decided yet with white roof
upgrading the electrics for little extra power with out the extra fuel fuel prices being what they are lol
might be requiring some expertise which all you lovely people seem to have bucket loads of

Mini Cooper 1.3i - Mini Light Alloys, Lowered, Stage one exhuast, Wide arch body kit and a fat stereo, rest is standardddd!




Plans are to tint the back windows and fix up the tiny damage on the arches!
Any other ideas what I could do to it?

not sure what mine was, but nw it had allsorts done 2 it far 2 much 2 list! the engine is on its 3rd rebuild nw costin a fortune keeping the old turbo in good shape!!! bloody good fun tho!!!
