hi all i got a mini chelsea 1986 theres been no mods to it yet ! not sure which way to go with it getting rid of all the rust first

Hey guys I have been a mini owner for about 6 months, and I am loving every minute of it. My mini was not running when I got it and had more rust than I would have liked. I have worked on my mini almost every night since I got it and it is almost done. I hope you will tell me what you think.
I have so many parts I cannot even remember but here are a few.
Wide body kit
175/50 R13 dunlops
Powder coated 13 inch rims
Weber 32/36 carb
1.75 inch exhaust with glasspack
New clutch
New Gaskets on the motor
New oil pump
New wheel bearings
New water pump
Dinamat on floor and firewall
All new Paint
All trim and Chrome Powder coated or painted Black
Custom side vents and lights (LED)
LED turnsignals in the front
and much more

Metalic Cadbury Purple 1986 Mini City (manual)
Joined with Bournemouth Mini Club, Dorset
998cc engine

Interior consists of black carpets with purple trim (official Mini product from BJ Autosales), custom chrome handles etc, Mountnay Steering Wheel, CD player, black seats with purple trim, cowprint covered dashboard, centre console and parcel shelf.
Exterior consists of Astralie Minilite Alloys, Goodridge Brake Hosing (up front), Alloy Rocker Covers, chrome bullet wing mirrors.

Future plans: -
Respray exterior for better and more even coverage, and name sprayed over rear wings.
New doors fitted.
New wing mirrors (as current mirrors cannot be adjusted!)
New steering wheel and column (current steering wheel welded to column instead of bolted to!)
Cowprint dash to be re-newed (looking a little faded atm and requires better coverage)
Cowprint to replace vinal roof inside!!!!!

1967 MK2 or 3 saloon rebuild to replicate sports pack version (no trace of the origin as I'm like the 15th owner )

1977 Mini GTS - South African model that had a 1275 Cooper S motor with 8.4" disc brakes in a Clubman shell.

1293cc block
Ported & polished big valve head
Weber 40DCOE on custom inlet manifold
Custom large bore exhaust
Stripped out interior
12x7" magnesium alloy Minilites
165/60 Yokos

I will be stripping the car shortly and rebuilding it with a Toyota 4age 20v motor.

Hi, I drive a 1984 mini 25 special edition,the only thing ever done to her was a new dashboard which was put in, in 1985 so i wouldn't really call it new!
I haven't got any plans to do anything with her cause she is perfect,absolutely no rust anywhere treated underneath and drives like a dream.
I would just like to say thanks to whoever put the flyer on my car since getting my car (ayear ago) i have wanted to join something like this,thanks. I'm going to put on a piccy so tell me what you think
