1968 Austin mini MK2 850cc. needs a bit of work. no engine mods at all im guna keep that part all original (keeps the flavour alive). original red getting that resprayed (a lil bit faded) might add abit of something else in it not to sure on the colur yet... getting the interior all new matching the colur or the exterior. im going to put a bit of a sound system in it to keep it a lil more modern (and to keep those long hauls a lil bit more exciting) and a good tidy up! its going very nice when im finished with it!!!

What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?
Also what are your plans :proud: !

I drive a '95 Mini 35 - i've modded the sound - twin 6x9's on back shelf, twin 4" treeters on custom front dash and a sometimes 15" sub instead of a front left passenger seat [by the way that is not a permanent thing - atm its in my garage, leaving me with four seats again!].

how bout you?

[and the photo editing on that is extremely crude i know - but i had just learnt where the blur button was!]

HI EVERYBODY!!!

My name is John, I live in Holmfirth (Ladt of the Summer Wine Country) in West Yorkshire. I am 18, and, having been a big Mini fan all my life have been fortunate to get hold of a 1993 Rover Mini Sprite (1275cc) with just 16000 on the clock! Interior in perfect condition, looks just like a new car. Has allready been re-sprayed so no rust. All for £600! It is white, and I plan to add a Union Jack to the roof, and black racing stripes to the bonnet in the next couple of weeks.

I am looking to joining some Mini Clubs and cant wait to get involved in some events in the North of England so please please PM me (or add me/email me: [email protected]) if you are recruiting! I cant wait to get involved now I finally have a Mini of my own.

Will add a pic very soon.

Cheers,

John

I have a Mini Equinox in purple that I bought new in May 1996.
I has had some metalwork in the last 12 years but I also waxoyl it every year.

It has minor modifications, Rover Cooper Alloys and a heated front windscreen.
I also have a quickshift which I have regretted since it went in.
I have a maniflow manifold, stainless RC40, K&N filter element and negative camber brackets.

Current mileage is 84,000. I do oil changes every 3,000 miles, or annually. I tend to use it for at weekends but occasionally for work, though we have narrow car parking spaces in Halifax.

I also have a Maestro (don't laugh it's a good car), a VW type 2 camper and various project Clubman Estates.
