What mini do you drive and are there any mods done to it ?

Just bought a 1275 sprite from EBAY,my first mini,pick it up friday from hull,ive already bought sportspack arches and are trying to find the wheels to match,then exhaust,seats,etc.does anyone know if it has a cat on and if so can i bin it,im at a loss at the mo.

Hi im Hub, Old hat to the mini club scene but new to your forum. learning my way around here lol.
Ihave a Ereg Austin Mini Mayfair, which im currentlymodding andaddding a Wolseley Hornet front.

I use to have a Kreg Mini Mayfair with hubcap logo'd on the side but my wife now has that one.

looking ahead to a good 2008 show season, rollon newquay.

twin spring verto clutch .
rear beam and usual suspension mods .

Hello All I'm a Newbie. My Name's Jono.
I drive a 1997 Rover Mini Cooper, standard, I'll add pictures when the weather is nice. I've had it about 3 weeks now.

What i want to do is

- Fit speaker boxes and a centre console
- Fit 4 new lamps to the front, preferably Hella ones with the classic covers
- Fit wider minilites (dunno what size yet, what are the widest you can fit without having to do body mods?)
- Fit wide white wheel arches

This is just the start, i have many other silly plans. I'm also gonna add a few little touches like, chrome GB for the back and a new gearknob. I also have some old union flag floor mats that need cleaning up. This is gonna be my first task and once the weekend comes i'll be scrubbing away.

I've had a few mini's in my time ...a mini cooper which i just sold and a red mini mayfair auto which i converted to manual ....now i have this mini as you can see below and it's a monster, needs some work but not much to get it on the road

Hello all, I ve recentally passed my test and am really enjoying going around corners at speed. Minis are AWSOME.

I drive a Mini advantage at the moment, but this is temporary untill i get my other one sorted.

The other one is a Mini city E, Ive done quite abit of work to it. Its had Poly subframe mounts fitted to make it a little more rigid than standard.

Its got a K&N cone filter on it with a LCB manifold and 2" bore exhaust with a center expansion box and center exit backbox.
Ive got a silicone hose set for it, and a few Cosmetic things.

Im buying some 6x12 deep dish minilites soon, i have the Sportpack arches.
I plan on lowering it a litt ejust to level it out.

Hello, i am new to the mini forum. I am from northern ireland and use a couple of local mini sites. i thought i would share some pics of my mini which i completed building 6 months ago after 18 months work.hope yous all like it.

Not driving it yet - but buying a 1982 Mini City 1000. Very excited to experience that grin factor for myself after Mini spotting other drivers on the roads for some time!

Hi Got a mini Mayfair 1986.

Brought for 1300 in november. all my own hard grafted money.

Mods wen brought : Ful pro respray in 2005 in light matalic green, stage 1 kit, sportpack arches, superlight 13 x 7s. bit of crome work

Ongoing mods : Halogen Angel eyes, Microscan alarm and immobilser (not yet fitted), Deluxe carpet green edging (not yet fitted, got to sort some leaks), Custom dash (My own, its C**p but only to get by), ICE Pioneer head unit (p6900 or somat), alpine 4" up front in dash, Vibe slick 6x9 (all from halfords with staff discount. Own Speaker board, own parcel shelf to cover horrible holes from old classic speaker.


Still learning hopefull test in Mid feb cant wait to drive it (cant afford provisional insurance £1900)

Had quotes from Adrian flux and £1500 when i pass with pass plus. Any other insurers any good???

Hi my name is Doug and i've recently joined the mini forum,

I brought my first mini in Aug 06. Completely standard 1991 Mini City Rover, Red, 998 cc. Took it off the road in Feb 06 for a complete refurb ( body work, electrics, engine, etc) and with many things the project dragged. The project slowed down further when I found a mini clubman on ebay.

My 1980 clubman (green) has a 1275 cc metro engine, roll cage, HIF44 carb, custom molded green dash, 12" Green wheels (don't ask why) and I believe uprated suspension.

Hopefully i'll have both on the road this year.
