you might want to change your brakes though. the 7" cooper brakes are awfull.

yeah u gotta physically stand up in ur seat and stamp on the pedals!!!! well,,,, not that bad, but nearly LOL, makes u wonder why they put them on some of the fastes minis produced, the coopers?!?!?! lol

Hello, new member. I just purchased a "1975 mini" on ebay. was described as a 1300.
serial number is XE2D2 211420A which matches title, but I would like some help in identifying exactly what i have.
is metalic BRG, with tan "leather" seats, electric sunroof. dual SU carbs and I believe a 1275 engine
all works well except. the flashers and the turn signals. seller said it needs a DCR8626 flasher. did a google search for the flasher and this web-site came up. all help and direction would be much appreciated.

i drive a 35 year limited edition mini
had new panels put on and a full respray in pink!
got 12inch superlights on it, and had the underneath waxoiled
havent reli got any other plans for it yet

hello...there's lots of bloody nice mini's on here isn't there...feel a bit shy of mine...got no mods and not in a good state at the moment!!! but i love him still and thats the main thing!!! it's a 1987 mayfair in midnight blue...oh i have modified it actually...fitted a lovely little racing steering wheel have owned a couple of mini's in the past... couple of years ago mini piccadilly with a 1275 cooper engine in BRG...was v nice but havin a kid and no money meant had to part with her!! and my first car was a 1979, not sure what type, but it was totally original, only about 30k on the clock, one old lady owner, garaged etc classic story, but was my first car and sadly i wasn't to hot at driving and pranged it!!!

i'm gonna be cheeky and ask for some advice straight away if i may...have got a problem with the gearbox...the problem being it's knackered...there's oil all over the road outside my next door neighbours house...not good!! i'm wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how much a reconditioned one should be and if anyone knows anyone 'daan saaf' sussex way who might have one??? i

if i should be posting this in a different forum or new topic for more people to see it would really appreciate someone lettin me know!!!

Im driving a Rover Mini 1000cc 1990, worked all summer for it and im extremly proud! Needs mainly cosmetic stuff doing to it, so hopefully i can get it into a decent condition! I'm 16 at the moment, so im sure it'l be ready for when I'm 17 in May,
