Hey everyone!
Currently own a 1988 mini mayfair (cooper replica) with a 998 stage 1 engine, I would of put 'currently driving' at the start of this post but unfortunately have a broken leg and haven't managed to drive for the past 4 months, I dunno how much longer I can take it! I'm nearly there! i'm just about back on my feet, well limping really and managed to give her a good clean and polish e.t.c for the evil winter months ahead!
Anyway here's a few pics, if I can work out how to do it!!

hey everyone :o
i've got a red 1989 mayfair, i've had it for about 2 years now. i've had the roof done white and got black checks. At the moment i'm running standard rover 12" minilite's and also i've added a chrome grill and 4 spotlamps. It was originally a 998 to which i added a hif44 carb and a big, stupidly loud exhaust but just this weekend i've fitted an MG metro 1275 and a full stage 1 kit.
The interior has been stripped down completely awaiting a rollcage and buckets when funds allow as well as some new wheels, 12x6 rev's in black!

My main aim for the car is to be as cheap as possible and yet still embarass silly boys in saxo's and corsa's at the lights! its a bit scabby at the moment in the usual mini places, but as and when i can afford it im sorting it out. kind of using it as a learning platform until i move onto bigger and scarier things... like an XE engined pick-up that me and my stepdad are considering :withstupid:

Wow i just wrote a big essay :o

This pic is about 9 months old

1997 Mini Cooper 1.3i
Volcanic Orange
twin exhaust and a new filter are the only mods I know of and i didn't do them. I've only had her about a year. About to get the bodywork de-rusted. Going to try and keep her on the road for at least another 10 years.

She's called Rogue.

1988 Austin Mini Mayfair
998 but with stage one kit, dyno tuned to 58bhp at the wheels and 67 ft/lbs torque
Full OMP FIA rollcage
3 Point Willans harnesses
Seats from a Vauxhall Nova Sport (which im told is a rare car??)
All the usual chrome
Looking to get the handling sorted soon as it understeers alot in the wet :- but in the dry ive kept up with my mates Subaru WRX round a round about so im quite happy with the standard suspension and tyres in the dry :( annoyed a few chavs at the lights with it too.....saxo vtr's are easy and astra 2.0L too!! No torque in fourth tho :P

I have a 1985 Austin Mini Ritz. Shes in pretty good condition but im replacing the front panel, rear valence and nearside sill. And lots more niggly things to do and replace! I'm keeping her as standard as possible apart from uprated parts for durability. eg stainless steel brake hoses and silicon ht leads etc Hope you like!

My mini is a 1987 Mini Advantage, her name is Lily. She is still pretty much a standard 998, done a few little things and i've given her some new seats, turquoise and grey cobra classics, to match her original turquoise and grey interior and Advantage stickers. Oh yeah, shes got white 5x12 minilites too. Im hoping to put a stage 1 on her sometime, maybe one day a 1275 Im having a bit of rust on her drivers door, and a dent in her bootlid sorted soon. I think i may also have some custom advantage stickers done, but ive not quite finished designing them yet!!

The pictures show, when I bought her, now and her new seats...oh, and her shiny wheels!

I drive a 1979 Mini mayfair, with a 1275GT clubby engine dropped in it, with 10x6's with balloon tyres on it, smoothed off bumpers, a full straight through exhaust system on it, 7" cooper disks on front, brand new ajustable shocks all round, checkerd roof, and with bonnet stripes, with the john coopers stickers on! good fun, and rarther nippy :D

Ive got for it.......... Chrome sump gaurd, Aston filler cap, gotta wire up the rear spot lamp. I want to get, short shift jack knight gearbox, twin 40's, superlight flywheel, electric fuel pump, the head skimmed and pollished, ports pollished, forged pistons (oversized), kent cam and to finish it off, Fluffy dice :D its a must!

Tell me what u think to it? :D Miniman1990
