'88 Designer, in black. Full resto, everything is as it should be with but a few mod-cons: Alarm/Immob., Unleaded, MP3/CD. Standard 998cc jobby.

I'd love an Equinox or a Lamm Cabrio...*Sighs & dreams on*

I dont drive one at the mo, it's in bits having a major overhaul.

BUT it will end up as follows

'71 shell
1380cc a series block
twin carbs (not sure on details yet)
maniflow LCB system
12" minilites
approx 4KW sound system
Flourescent orange with rainbow flakes
black roof

Corbeau Forzas (i think) in the front
No back seats (stereo goes there!!)

So far it's been stripped, i'm waiting for some welding to be done then it's off to the painters and then i just put it back together!!

Hi I'm Cat from Australia & Driving a Australian 1965 Morris Mini
Photos on Blog
My first car & bought with following:
Cobra bucket seats & sabelt harneses
10" Sprintwire Mag wheels
1100cc
Fully restored interior
Other bits but really have no idea.

Installed a Momo steering wheel & about to do a quickshift & later Cooper s brakes.

Still on my L's and getting used to driving a mini, but love it. It's such a cute car.

Greetings from the land of way-too-few-minis. I'm around the great lakes in the US and picked up my firts Mini a year ago. I will attempt attaching a photo to this post. At any rate, "Spot" is a 1965 SuperDeluxe that was restored in the UK in the late '90s I think. This car morphed during the rebuild into a pseudo-MkII because the shell had to be scrapped and replaced with a '68 shell. Mods include a twin carb 1293, LCT header, Cooper 'S' discs, hi-lo's, Mountney leather steering wheel, full cage by Safety Devices, and 5X10 Minators with Yoko A008 tires for the street. For autocrossing I recently found a set of scruffy old Exacton wheels. Bead blasted them, powder coated them white, and mounted a set of Yoko A032R tires. Should give a bit more bite next season. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them this year.
Anway, this is my first British car and I'm lovin' it! You'd likely be amazed how few classic Mini's there are over here. In my town of 100,000 people and the surrounding area I am aware of only 3 others and two of those only see the occasional car show. Pitty really. Way too much fun on the road!

I've got a 1975 pickup called Babs and she's great. Got a few plans, nothing too radical, just bits and bobs to make her easier to live with

I'd really like a Vtec clubman estate to bomb around in as well but funds won't allow :w00t:

Something that looks completely standard from the outside, but will scare the bits off any boy racer types unlucky enough to be next to me at the lights!!!!!
