I bought myself a 1993 Rover Mini SPI 1275. She was red but one of the previous owners painted it in "Rolls Royce Silver Shadow". Sounds fancy, looks like silver to me ?
She's got a ton of rust, vacuum hose problems (only know that because of the great people on this site) and had a few electrical problems but thanks to everyone here I've already made great progress on getting my new ride ready for the street!

Hi to all,

Thanks for the ad.

I own a 1968 Austin Mini 1000 MK2 Cooper specs recently restored and identical to my first car in 68.

The restoration was lots of fun and I can now enjoy the ride as I was in the old days.

I look forward to reading the forum topics.

Greetings.

JC

1990 Studio 2 998cc, no mods, right now kind of like my Mini to be a Mini. Just as it was born. Lots of character. I have had it 4 years now and no major problems. Cars in my past have been a 64 1/2 Mustang 289ci. a 66 chevelle SS 396ci , 3 VW bugs, 63,68, 69. etc, etc. But this Mini is the best and most fun i have ever had with a car. Thank you U.K.

Hi. I own a Mini City. 1989. Bought it in September. Nor been run or used for years. I have already removed the engine and sorted it. Rebuilt the subframes, and now i will be starting the long job of tackling the rust on the bodywork. The car is a bog standard car that I had my eye on for a long time as it was just left to decay.
