rover mini mayfair 1300 spi 96 reg
rover british open mini 1275 92 reg.
Both cars are currently sorn,
The mayfair ( called mary ) was my daily driver for some 10years,and when not
in a garage being welded became the love of my life.
shes been off road since last year with sub frame rot,
The open mini was recently brought , as a whole car (incl interior) but as a primed bare shell plus parts.
the idea was to restore the mayfair using the new shell and sub frames both in excellent condition.
creating a one off holey mary using engine, doors, interior of the mayfair which are also
in good condition, after much time and money being spent.on them
is this a practicle idea, what are the hidden dangers of this approach , compatibility between the
engines should work as i hope the shells match.
the other issues of what car to build do , as i now feel both cars deserve to be saved.
my head says stay original to the open, but my heart says keep as much of mary.
especially her engine, and interior. any advice wellcome.
