Ive been offline for a while, so I thought I would say hello again :)

I've always had Minis. My first car 30 odd years ago was a Min bought for £50 and re-built by my Dad to make sure it was safe. I loved the way they can be worked on, and have stuck with them ever since. I am now on my second Pup (the first was sold for £300 to pay the bills but that's life eh?) My latest Pup is in the first stages of a well deserved restoration.

I do have a question....or two....My 1978 Pup has the wrong bonnet badge on it, what would be the correct one for the year? Does the colour of the badge reflect a year or season of build?

The Pup was first registered in June 1978. It is also registered as "Grey" Can anyone tell me the correct colour "Grey" please?

Many thanks

Russ

1998 Cooper mpi JDM spec. It's has various stuff done however aside from the obvious exhaust I'm not sure yet. It's too cold and I'm in Beijing for work. But I shall be investigating when I get back. Oh its got a GPS HUD on it. Kinda useful when the clocks are in kph.

Hi all

My name's Kieron and a new member. I have an unmodified 1979 Austin mini 1000 which is currently being welded and brought back to roadworthy condition. Not new to owning a mini but my first in a very long while.

Thanks

Kieron

My names Darren, Ive bought a 1976 1275GT for restoration back to somewhere near original state.

Needs sunroof filling in and front end replacing.

No engine number present, so will be checking its the right engine for the car once its out.

Couple of Pics

Got it started at the weekend, first time in 6 years if previous owner is to be believed.

Now to get it stripped to see what shape its really in, maybe one day it might look like this

Thanks

Darren

Hey, I'm 18 years old and just bought a shell of a 1979 Mini. It has no doors, no hood or boot so was wondering if anyone could help me out on where I could find these cheap?

Very much appreciated,

John Phillips
