I don't have a Mini anymore, just a Head full of Knowledge & Experience, and a Garage Full of Mini Bits & Tools.
I joined so I could answer a couple of questions people have been asking.
My first Mini was a Mk2 Cooper, but I've also had a Riley Elf, a Mini Scamp, and a Cox GTM.
At Club Level I was a Successful Rally Driver and Navigator, but my Greatest Successes were in Off Road Events, such as Auto Tests, Grass Auto Tests and Production Car Trials.
I used to do all of my own work, except for Crankshaft Balancing and Block Boring.
In total (Competition and Boring Stuff like Driving to Work), I've clocked up over Half a Million Miles in my Minis and Mini Variants, and I Straightened and Rebuilt my Cox GTM from a Total Write-Off after I demolished a Stone Wall with it and couldn't find a single Garage that would attempt to repair it.

Hello everyone,
We (or rather the other half) have a 1275cc Rover Mini on a 1998 R plate. Red with white roof an I believe sports pack!
Used last year in good weather sat in driveway Sorn for several months. Time to spend some money on her and get her back on the road.
Any one on the forum who might recognize her I would love some details (good; bad or ugly) purchased her with no history full index is R869 JFR.
Thanks.
Will post some pics when I can workout how!!!!

Hi all
850, 1976, colour: BLMC 138 (or "racing puke" gold !), 34000 miles. No mods.
Will attempt to post pic once settled in.
In process of get it road-worthy again after a decade of being off the road.
Happy to bore you with the mundane progress if anyone's inetrested.
Most pressing problem: how to fit rear seat belts.
I'll check other posts for clues before posting noob question.

Hi
I drive a 1982 HLE called Mervin.
No mods.
Needs a new interior. (if anyone has one for free? maybe? probably not)
Needs rust removal and a respray which i will one day get around to.
I am a student so i am just slowly improving whenever i have money.
The other day i replaced the points! although i think it needs a new distributor.
