Hello!

Recently purchased my first mini; It's a 1999 nightfire red Cooper MPI.

Looking forward to driving her and experiencing the social aspect that comes with owning a classic mini.

Just purchased my first mini as a 75th birthday present to myself . It's a rust free, plain Jane 1984 bright yellow Austin Rover HLE. Wasn't running when I bought it and I think I have completed a stage 2?? 12G295 head, Maniflow freeflow with single box RD40 exhaust. Pertronix. Minispares intake with SU HS4 and custom air cleaner. 10.3CR and 2.95 drive on 12" Minilites. Took her to a car show in Virginia Beach 2 weeks ago and proudly received 3 place import trophy (beat by Ferrari 308 and Porsche 904)

I've got a year 200 Rover Cooper Sport, BRG with silver trim, put a new rc40 exhaust on it

My question is what's the difference between Rover Mini Cooper Sport and a Rover Mini Cooper?

Hi there my name is Tony and i'm in the process of building my rally lookalike mini, its going to be a bit of a speedwell mini too! I'm painting it speedwell blue (its red at the minute) before I add all the goodies I've bought so far over the winter. The mini is a 1981 mini mayfair but its getting a new look day by day, I've nearly finished all the welding so painting underneath is the next job!!! oh well Ill tell more as it goes on but the marathon welding is nearly there and i'm so happy i might just sit back and admire it for a day or two....

Photos next time

By the way, i have a front subframe with the 8.4 inch discs and want to fit 7.5 inch discs, do i need the discs and calipers and hubs or will 7.5" fit my hubs?

Blue is a 1998 mpi cooper. They are absolutely fun to drive. I can see the addition of these fantastic little giants.

I drive a blue 1989 Austin Mini 1000 City E with no known performance modifications. I have owned this since august 2016 and love it.
