1989 Mini Mayfair 998, lightly modified, absolutely love every minute of it!

Also a Triumph TR6 (bloody scary machine)

Then a sensible old honda civic... but that one doesn't count

I don't have my Mini anymore, she was an innocenti cooper 1300 but I had played with her a bit with a 1340 stage 2 head 45DCOE Hi-los bilstein shocks, stainless RC40. Lightened flywheel 276 kent cam, genuine cooper S RH Tank and deseamed, she was a pain to drive in traffic but was a respectable 95BHP.

I have just bought a 1987 Austin Mini Park Lane. In need of a complete engine overhaul and a new coat of paint, now I mention it she needs a new interior too! Everything but welding really -  but I might do some just to freshen her up!

This is not my first mini (8th) but it is the first one I have bought to refurbish.

I also have my everyday F56 Mini Cooper - I know it is not a 'real' mini but for a practical everyday car, it is nice to have a logo I love on the front!!

87 Park Lane. Standard other than the wheels

If you ever feel like ripping out the standard interior - I would love to buy it from you!

Just got a '62 basket case. Only driven it off the car transport. No wait. I was pushing it. Haven't driven it yet. Be a couple of years before it will be ready for the track, but look out when I'm done! I mean, seriously. I usually leave the brakes for last....

Cheers!

Hi I'm new here, I drive a 1989 Mini City E 1000 all stock, however its at the garage with what I suspect is a leak in the cooling system, after a dramatic steam up at the top of a long hill! Hopefully that's what they'll diagnose and I can push her back home and take her apart! It's my first car and I'm a budding engineer with a bit of experience with cars before but not minis, so this should be interesting... :)

I can take some tomorrow - got her back from the garage, they said there's a hole in the bottom hose, and the radiator is not in the best shape. I have ordered a new radiator and new top and bottom hoses, and I think I will order a new thermostat and housing gasket, flush the system completely and reassemble with the new parts.

Hi,my name is Paul and I'm in the process of restoring a 1971 Hustler 4. I would be interested in hearing from other owners of this marque.

Ive a 1992 auto sprite which I recently finished converting to a 1275 manual. Now I have just got to decide what colour to paint her. Was originally red, any suggestions please?

Personally I've always thought British racing green looks good on minis - just my opinion though :)
