Hi all I'm new to this site I've just purchased a 1991 mini Mayfair just stripping it down at the moment with my son going to be restoring it and is a project I've been wanting to do for yrs

I've recently bought a orange 1975 998cc clubman called Buddy, he's doing pretty good for 40 year old car, owned by one family since new and lived in a garage most of his life.

Started to sort out some problems and bring him into the 21st century a bit.

Mine at the moment is a 1970 Morris Mini K rolling shell. When the wallet allows it will be rebuilt with 1098 and 10" contessa wheels. Colour decision continues to change.

I've also a 1973 Mini Clubman Estate
Honda K20 Type R Engine
Tarot 6 pots in the front
KAD 4 pits in the rear.
Brake bias adjustable.
Minitec front subframe and flip front.
13" Deep Minilites and semi slicks
Honda Clocks
Leather interior
Full Rollcage
Aluminium race tank
Bare metal respray in old English white
Loads and loads more I'm sure.
Looking forward to picking some brains on here.

hi guys just bought mini city 1000 in ford imperial blue with 7x13s superlights arches sports interior hi lows stainless rc exhaust just going to fit new floor pans sills inner sills door scins ect should be a nice project the last car I did this too was my escorts yrs ago

Hi All,

 

First post here so bear with me.  Ive restored many old motors over the past 10 years but never a mini so I am currently looking for a suitable mini that requires either re commissioning or light - medium restoration.

Ideally am looking for a big centre dial model with a fairly sound body so if anyone has one that they are considering selling could you please let me know ?

 

I am based in Coventry so any in the midlands area would be great but will travel.  Cash is ready for the right car !

Hi folks, finally joined the forum after many months, I've an 89 Thirty owned from new,16k miles from new; completely standard. Also have a 79 Clubman (1098), 15k miles from new, I've owned it for 20 yrs but only drove it during the summer of 1995. It's been garaged ever since and moved house 3 times!

Have spent last few months replacing every hydraulic seal, flexible brake pipe and radiator hose.

Original subframe coming out next weekend. Hope to be back on road for 2016

Hey all,

Clubmandee81, just saying hi to you all. I own a 1979 1275gt Clubman. I have been working on this car now for two years. To be honest it is engine works, interior changes and exterior changes. My freind worked on it for 5 years slowly building it up. He done a great job and I took it over. Engine is giving me problems but it will get sorted.

Anyway I will post a picture when I figure out how to work the site.
