My is a 1977 morris mini, we are gonna put a KAD 16v engine in it and all the best of KAD.

interior is gonna be a full leather retro original interior :)

we are thinking staying with flame red color and chrome details.

That's about it so tell me what do you think:)

regards, Jure

Mini 35th Anniversary (1994), bought it last week, and I love it used to own a Mayfair as a youngest and always planned to buy another, to restore it to is original condition, a lot of it is already original, carpets are new but have been bodged, wheels painted black, spent the day with my hubby trying to get them back to basic, so the can be refurbed, need new head lining, new heater stalk, bubbling repaired, along with some tiny rust patches, luckily no rot, I want a new grill as stone has hit it , possible a new front seat or remove it and sort it out as a big saggy, other than that interior is fab, oh hope to find an original stereo and need to replace a speaker, after all putter work is done a full respay with replacement decals, and replace any chrome that doesn't shine, I truly want her how she came out of the showroom.....however she is lovely now, but I love her and could sit in her for hours without going anywhere haha

I am Located in Ramstein. If there is anyone that knows anything near by, please hit me up! I am trying to get this car looking like new again!

thanks!

Cheers all, new Classic Mini owner. Just got a late-model MPI model with tasteful upgrades. Been fettling with it, addressing common things (plugs, oil, etc.) and getting it from great to excellent. Some pics:

Rebuilding a 1990 Mayfair from project condition . Engine gearbox are as factory. Lot of parts missing. Box of parts came with car as to weather they belong to the car is another question. I'm aged 60 bit of spare time first car was an 850cc mini had great fun in my youth and hold a passion for the proper mini. Don't know what I'm going to end up with as Iv got lots of ideas in mind and seen some really good builds at shows , would like to keep numbered engine and box .up grade to stage 1 too start with. Would be good to join a group to gain advice so hear I am .
