I recently bought the same car I past my test in (a duplicate anyway), A Mini City E. It's bright red and has just been rebuilt. However the interior wasn't great or original. So I re trimmed the interior with black leather and red piped the seats. The doors cards have been re trimmed in Bentley leather and new carpets and mats added. Next I added a wooden steering wheel. The car now looks great on the interior and original on the exterior.
Today I added a Stage 1 kit and K&N filter. It's now driving crap. The carb I have is the 1 1/4 and to run right it needs the 1 1/2 SU.
I'm off to France in the Mini on Tuesday and don't fancy driving it the way it is (massive low down flat spot as the carb to manifold aperture is not ideal.)
So if anyone has a 1 1/2 SU Carb (I'm running the original filter size K&N, so don't need a filter) and wants to sell over the weekend then I'm your man. If you can fit even better. I'm based in Huddersfield.

Hi there, I recently joined the forums. I've got a 1974 mini clubman (I believe it's 74) and I love it. It's the first car I ever owned and I'm 23, but I've always loved classic minis through my dad so I was really happy when I saw it in the garage that first day. It's pretty much all original except we've recently changed the colour from the cream/white it was in originally to a pretty bright orange. Other than that, as I said it's pretty much all original

Hi all, newby here. I have a 1994 Mayfair, currently just fitted a stage 1 kit but as i work with a Turbo company, i am hoping to design and fit my own custom turbo kit and i'm sure i will post any successful results on here!
