My 1969 Morris Mini,1293 engine, straight cut gears, stage rally prepared.

I used this car between 2000 and 2005 and the finished rebuilding it last year as I missed how much fun you can have in a Mini.

Here it is in action on last years Showground Stages Rally

Hopefully will be able to compete on a few road rallies later this year.

Love this!!!!!

I'm new! Last winter my father handed down to me his 2004 mini cooper s

I love this car ever since he brought me to see "The Italian Job"

After the movie came out my father told me a story about how when he grew up in Italy he had an old mini.

Shortly after the movie came out my father just had to have one. After a long wait it finally came. Here we are. Now its mine.

The only thing I have done to it for Mods is the Madness Motorworks cold air intake witch I am very impressed with.

More to come. Hopefully sooner than later.

                                                                               Thanks!

Hi there,
I am 18 and I have always loved classic minis and always dreamed of having one as my first car. However, it would be my only car that I drive and therefore my daily driver, as well as a well-loved thing that I would want to modify etc.
so my question is, as a classic car is it suitable (reliability, rust etc.)

Thanks in advance,
Lil G

Yes. I use my Mini daily for the commute, and have also taken it oop north, to Belgium, Devon... all over the place really. Get a good one, service it and look after it and you'll be fine. It's not rust free but structurally sound and kept on top of. Never broken down :proud:

If you've got money to modify () you've got money to get a good one and look after it. They take some abuse but not a massive amount before they throw a tantrum.

I recently bought a 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sport L.E., fully restored last year (2013). Brooklands green with an olde english white roof.

One of only 100 of this model produced.

I live on Anglesey, North Wales, near Holyhead. (also known as the back of beyond.)

I am interested in contacting other N.Wales classic mini owners, I've seen two around so far, but only exchanged a thumbs up with them.
