Afternoon all.  I have a 1976 1098cc Mini Clubman.  Quite a few mods done, Uprated brakes, stage one kit, new interior etc. It is covered in rust but solid as a rock.

I like the 'rat look' to be honest!!..

Purchased a 1985 Austin Mini Mayfair for my first car, pretty much all origonal and the bodywork is sound. I plan on replacing carpets, new upholstry etc but trying to keep it as original as possible. Attached File  DSC_4490.jpg   93.09K   23 downloadsAttached File  DSC_4492.jpg   74.79K   12 downloads

Welcome! Lovely looking car but it's not original - wheels, dashboard & steering wheel have been swapped with later aftermarket items. Front bumper, grille, spotlights and bonnet badge have all been changed to look like an early Cooper. Also roof has been painted white and Cooper bonnet stripes have been added.

All very tasteful mods, but thought you should know :proud:

Well you're in the right place. None of the mods on your car are difficult to undo, not that you need to. Just make it how you want!

Hi :) This is the first mini forum I've become a member of. I passed my driving test in October this year and had my little mini waiting for me as I bought him in May. (yes I said him haha)

He is a 1990 998cc Studio 2 in Nordic Blue. He looked in good condition when I got him but after replacing a dented grille (that was put on wonky as the front looked straight) I realised that my front end is wonky. I have since ordered a new fibreglass front end and bonnet :) There's just some surface rust and a scratch on him, the worst is a small hole in my inner wing. I plan on removing all the rust and giving him a full re-spray in his original colour and applying all new studio 2 stickers. I am keeping the standard interior and plan on getting deepdish superlite alloys and some arches to fit. Look forward to talking to fellow mini lovers and seeing everyones classics :)

I drive a 1989 Racing green....
1310 block with mild road Cam, 4 pot calipers, 7x13 deep dish alloys under sports pack arches. I’ve recently put a new headlining in and done a carbon fibre wrap on the dash.
Its also had new door cards, door cappings, rolled edged carpets... the list goes on.... Needs a tad of bodywork done now, but still a great car to drive...

I also recently purchase a 1971 Morris mini with a MED engine running a MG Turbo... It needed alot doing to it even though it was running and made it all the way back from York where I bought it. Believe me the drive was fun... and the flames out of the exhaust we a bonus!!

Hi Guys,

Brought my mini last year And looking at giving it a bit more go this year. It's my first go at this sort of thing and thought the 1976 mini which I love would be a good car to have a fiddle around with. Would love to Turbo it. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

A 1993 British Racing Green Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i SPI... Going for that standard showroom look, a couple of wee modifications still to reverse... externally at least. :D

Here's some pics of my 1971 Leyland Mini. Fully restored in 2012, less than 1000 miles since. Named Sherman by the guys who painted it.

My favourite features are the 1380cc Minispares motor, the Alfa GTV front and rear seats, the fully adjustable suspension, and the colour!

If these are too large, I'm happy to reduce them in size!  :D

Your car is gorgeous. Looks so mint. The last pic is amazing. I think I might use it as a desktop background :)
