Iv gone and bought my first car this week; a 1995 Rover Mini 1.3SPi Side Walk edition.

Its graphite grey and looks like my childhood dreams!

Just a shame iv only got to drive it 5 miles so far- it broke down. Fun times.

But new parts are on their way and should soon be wizzing around in my 'Zoe' :)

I have recently acquired mini clubman 1275e.

I want to tidy up the dashboard and replace the door mirrors, which are looking a bit tired.

I have a 1981 Austin mini 1000, it was originally blue but has been resprayed (not a good respray) yellow by a previous owner. the interior has been replaced with a later rover mini interior. the car is in need of few replacement panels and parts and at the moment it is sitting in a garage on axle stands. I have plans to convert it to coil springs, fit a full rc40 exhaust with center exit back box i have boxes of other spares that will be fitted when the welding is completed.

1966 Morris Mini, trying to make it a cooper s replica, nearly there. Engine has been bored to 1380 cc, stripped out interior with corbeu bucket seats, roll cage, perspex drivers and passenger windows so looks like a proper racer, and goes like one too.

About to put a new loom in the car, not good with electrics  :/

Thought i'd add my bits

I have a red 95 SPI, but been having a few issues so have sorted those out first (almost)

Has had new oil seals in the gear box and both drive shafts, new leads and plugs, k&n and a couple of chrome bits and set up. Have carbon dash (currently converting from 2 dial to 3) and centre consol, 6x9's, radio and chrome door bits to be added which are in the living room lol Also has some minilites

Going to test the battery tonight as its not holding its charge and hoping its a duff one as running out of things to check for power drain.

Once that is done, new front wing, sort out some small rust bits and a respray and black roof and finished lol for now

Hi all, pretty new to this site. Been here for a few months just browsing through but never posted before.
I drive a 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Brooklands. Great car love it. Needs a few little things done, for instance fuel gauge only goes halfway when filled up (any advice), tiny amount of rust under drivers headlight that's it really :)

Got a 1978 British leyland mini 1000 for my 17th birthday she needed a lot of work as the previous owner done half a job :L since last year she has had, new plugs, new leads, walnut dash, classic seats, two-pac paint job in karmin red, undersealed and a fresh oil change of 20w50. She purrs like a kitten when she's running (not atm) doesn't like reverse gear and has a delightful twin air horn.

Hi, I've just joined the forum so please bear with me.

I drive a 1993 Mini Mayfair that's been slightly "Cooperised".

Bodywork is bright red with white roof and bonnet stripes it's not what you'd call imaginative. But it's turns heads so I'm pleased about that. One day it'll get a more creative treatment but I'm happy with it for now.

The engine and gearbox are standard. It has sports pack arches and 13" Minilights. The latter are an addition by me.

I'll attach a couple of photos for your perusal.

Inside it's almost standard Mayfair with walnut dash and velour seats. It's been kept it like that for now because I'm getting old and it's comfortable. I've added a central console to accommodate 'phone charging and sat nav power points. And as a treat it has a polished steel Momo gear knob.

The old Rover radio cassette's been replaced by a modern Bluetooth/iPod playing RDS radio with more powerful speakers. This year's project is to up the speaker count to at least four.

Hope you like the project so far!

Mark
