My other interests are computers, repair and building and computer art and graphics which include a lot of car drawings. Since my stroke I'm limited as to how much I can do each day but I try to do what I can.

93' mini sprite... in my younger years I pretty much ruined it. Now I owe it to her to rebuild her to her former glory

'71 Mini 1000. Planning to keep it all original except to apply some subtle pinstripe whitewalls to promote my business at car shows...

Hi All, Recently joined the forum, so thought I would try my first post. I have a 97 Rover Mini MPI 1275 in Red. Planning on changing the wheels, adding Group 2 arches, new exhaust, then want to get started on the engine. I am toying with how much to change the car from stock, as it is pretty original at the moment. I am based in Bristol, so wondered if there were any meets and clubs around here? Also, if anyone has any wheels they are looking to sell, please let me know. Best wishes John

Hi all, first post as a new member. Former owner of a year 2000 'X Reg' Mini Cooper Sport (still breaks my heart but had to sell at the time!) I'm viewing a 1999 Cooper 1.3 wich looks exactly the same, Tahiti blue, electric roof, wide wheels/arches etc, all except that the dash is walnut and cream leather interior. My previous had the alloy dash with black/silver seats. Can anyone clarify, by my description, if the '99 version is a 'Sport'?
Thanks in advance.
Pretty sure the Sports had CooperSport on the boot. It could be a Cooper S Touring (again should have a decal) Cooper S Sport 5 (5 speed gearbox and decal) or even a Mini 40 which they did make in Tahiti blue. If no distinguishing features it's probably just a bog-standard Cooper.
