F-reg Cherry Red Mini Thirty (998), bought September 2011 as my first car. Have fitted Stage 1 - single box RC40, 'cooper freeflow' etc. Top-end rebuild. Hi-Lo's. Custom-consoles dashboard. Minimal ICE - 2 JBL 6x9s under rear seat. Have 5J wheels which I intend to fit, with preferably Yokohama A539s, but as yet do not have these.

New to this site and the Mini scene, be nice please ;-)

Recently bought a 1995 Kingfisher Blue Mini Sidewalk and will be learning to drive in it :-) Hopefully all goes well.
All completely standard at the moment bar a set of 12" superlites, and seat bracket extenders due to my height :P

Your Sidewalk is stunning, lovely 90s colour ;D The non-standard wheels look great. Don't be tempted with any crazy mods though since it's so nice and original! Where are the headlamp rims?

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated :-) At the moment the headlamp rims are taken off as they need polishing as is easier off the car and the light on the nearside wing will be removed too for work since the wing needs straightening and a few touch ups as it has been bent slightly in the past due to a knock of some sorts. Thankfully very little rust to contend with ;-) only that wing to sort out and even then its not even bad. Incredibly pleased with the price I bought it for :-)

Hello all Mini lovers! I'm new here.

I have a 1993 Mini Mayfair! Nice car, bought it as a wreck off of a neighbor.. Seemed like a silly mistake at the time as it was for my first car, never regretted it since though. Me and the old man rebuilt her and now she brings a smile to my face every time I go near her! Someone once said to me, once you go Mini, you never go back.

I don't drive her like an idiot (like most new drivers), spent far too much money and time to warrant smashing it to pieces! Its got a completely new front end, so no rust or anything going on that way, the rear had a new lower half panel as it had been in a rear end smash. New sub frame, brakes, custom dashboard, custom interior, all clutch components, brake master cylinder, replica Minilites (ran out of money!), a complete respray in the original color, also there was some more stuff but I cant remember absolutely everything!

All of it was done at home either in the garage or on the driveway, so... Really proud of what we achieved.

Here she is, I bought her back in 1980 as my first car. The last 25 years she sat in my garage buried under clutter almost derelict. Last 18 months I restored her to a new found glory adding all the toys and trinkets I couldn't as a teenager

Hopefully these work -

Hi I drive a 1994 mini 35, it's Nevada Red. It's my third classic, and a keeper. I'm about to bolt retractable seatbelts in the rear, but other than that, I like it standard. My husband would like to puts mags on it one day, either replica minilites or pepper pots, but I'm not sure I'll let him.

Heres my 1998 MPI Cooper!

I bought this car from showroom that it was sent to after the late owner sadly passed away. this car had been cared for but the weather took its toll and its started getting rust spots her and there just before she had died. She owned this car from Day 1! so im luckily the 2nd person to have this car, under the bonnet was gleaming with it only having as little as 21000 miles on the clock! the interior was immaculate but anyway.. here's abit about what been done.

Alot of hard work has been put into this car so some positive feedback will be nice on the work i have done and i would also like peoples opinions on the upgrades i im thinking of also doing se first heres a list of what i have had done...

WHATS BEEN DONE SO FAR:

Two new wings, front panel, A panels, inner and outer sills on both sides! abit of footwell welding up, scuttle panel, rear Quater panel bottom sections, complete rear wheel arch (there was a rather worrying hole in the old one) Then I had it sprayed by a local painted (luckily he was my Other halfs brother in law) he also teaches me to spray but anyway.. i have also had a 3" RC40 Side exit exhaust put on, new downpipe, rocker cover, T bars ect ect ect.. new sender unit, Performance spark leeds,CD player installed, cigar lighter socket FOR ONLY sat nav purpose (my mini has never been smoked in.. EVER!)

FUTURE PLAN!?( please give feedback on this)

I am wanting to convert it to 13" wheels as i have owned mini's previous to this and love the look of sportpack, looks abit meaner :P so I am also preparing to fit my HI-Lo suspension and Gas adjustable shocks. also new adjustable bottom arms and tie bars. i also thought of getting my roof and mirrors sprayed green and also my roof instead of them being white (for the meaner look) please give feedback on this!?

HERE SHE IS <3
