Mini city 1986, resprayed, looks really good. Forgotten how much fun they are to drive after 30 years! Bit skittish though and leaks like a sieve! Cant work out where the water is comming from yet.
Anyone know where I can get a single central binnacle as I dont like the 3 binnacle clocks currently in the car and want to make it look more retro?
Looking forward to a few more postings in the future.
Gary

Hey everybody! New to this forum stuff. I got a red Mini Cooper 1992. Currently in a poorly condition and looking to seek some advice on here. I'll add some photos (one now and how it used to look) and hopefully get some feedback. Nice to meet you :-)

Hello Everyone!

I drive two minis.

An '88 designer, with a 1275 block from a metro turbo, but built as a 1275gt with a single inch 3/4 carb. Inside it's got an austin rover dished sports steering wheel and cobra bucket seats with Takata 4 point belts.

I also race a classic mini in the classic minicross Rallycross. The car's a completely stripped out 91 mini with 1 1380 block and fibreglass front. I believe it was originally a flame red, but it's a long way from that now!

Would be nice to know if there are any minicrossers on here!

New to this site and the Mini scene, be nice please ;-)

Recently bought a 1995 Kingfisher Blue Mini Sidewalk and will be learning to drive in it :-) Hopefully all goes well.
All completely standard at the moment bar a set of 12" superlites, and seat bracket extenders due to my height :P
