Suppose Its about time i did this :), I "drive" a 1990 Studio 2 that someone converted to a 1275 automatic. I've spent the last 18 months restoring it, including converting to an MG metro manual :) Hopefully it'll be done very soon so i can drive it for more than a couple of yards :)

Hi,

1974 Mini Austin - unnamed. As far as I know she is standard other than all black leather interior. Busy replacing all the ball joints, shocks, converting from drums to disc brakes.

Looking at a new color, she needs a sound system, boot lining needs to be done and I want a new dashboard.

Hi all,

Just joined here and thought I'd make this my first post before I start asking stupid questions... :shy:

I've got a 1989 Mini 30, cherry red, in pretty much original condition.

Trying to keep him (Spike) as original as possible so desperately trying to stop my son from making mods - so far so good.

Got a mint condition set of original seats for my birthday and so far replaced the driver's side one that was in very bad nick, and also replaced the front windscreen a few weeks ago with green glass as at some point it had been replaced with a clear one and it was chipped anyway.

Various bits of bodywork to sort - patched up at the moment until I can afford the paint for respraying.

He's my second Mini - I had one years ago and had forgotten quite how much fun they are to drive!

Just recently bought a 1986 Austin Mini Mayfair. Really looking forward to customising this car, are there any suggestions, or "must have" items to really make this car amazing? Ideas and suggestions are very welcome!

I passed my driving test this Monday & picked up my Mini the same day! :D

It's a 1974 Mini Clubman 998cc in bright yellow! :D Only mods so far is a stage 1 kit and a multi-coloured steering wheel ;)

Had it less than a week but I already love it! :D

Is it still on the original drum breaks? A friend of mine suggested to me put discs on the front and then ally drum breaks on the back! It makes the car stop so much quicker! :)
