shes in pretty bad nick as we found it in a farmers field in the middle of the countryside in Gloucester (dont ask how, we just somehow came across her!)
floor, boot, door posts, door steps, inner wing, roof, front wings and valance, rear valance, door frame, doors and a panels all rotted away! (plus all the little holes around the windows) looking back now, i didn't realise i was taking on such a big job as my first project!!
all the floor, boot, door steps and door post are done but not really sure what to do about the roof; the actual skin is in amazing condition in comparison to the rest of the car! but its all rotted around the edges!
bought new heritage wings and front valance too!
everyones telling me itl be worth it in the end, but im not so sure, so i thought i'd ask the experts ;)
thats the story behind my 1275GT!

Anyway, here's Wilf, he left longbridge as a 1982 HL, the only HL bits which remain are the wheels, wheel trims, grille and bonnet badge. I think. Soon to be a 1293 street sleeper.

plan on putting chrome trim on the wheel arches and under the doors, fitting a basic sound system, like a stock one but it doesn't have a radio or anything and if possible fitting a walnut dash, but nowhere seems to sell one clock dashboards, so i might just tidy it up a bit so it looks sharper.
