hi and im new to the forum. i currently have 2 minis in my shed. a 1979 clubman estate and an 1987 austin mini. the 1987 is a completed job at this stage. i only purchased the clubman and it needs a bit of cosmetic work, mainly inside, outside seems solid. going to put a stage 1 kit onto it too for an extra bit of power. i live in ireland and am part of the irish mini owners club. i love mini runs. i keep pictures of mini events i attend on facebook, i have attached the link if ye would lke to see

1963 mk1 fitted with a 1293cc turbo, lots of work from start to finish ill list the mods, very simple in colours and build but exactly the look i want after owning loads and having all kinds of styles i realised this is the one that will be the ultimate one for me

> new inner and outer a panels and wings, origional front panel new door skins and hinges
> painted in the origional egg shell blue with deep black roof
> new rear subby with all new components inc radius arms
> colour coded back plates with mini fins
> dsn classics trunions with red bushes all round
> sand blasted and powdercoated front subby with -
> all adjustable heavy duty tie bars and bottom arms
> blasted and coated top arms with new pins
> ally sump gaurd
> bored to 1293 t3 turbo with renault 5 gt turbo ally intercooler, should produce 120bhp at 10psi, forged iasa pistons, stage 2 head, 276 cam, reground balanced crank and straight cut gears with central oil pickup - i wanted to keep it a driver but still be able to have a good play from time to time
> ally rad with electric cooling fan fitted
> dsn bolt os everywhere under the bonnet
> brand new loop
> spi tank
> hilos all round
> gaz shocks
> 10x6 deep dish rev
> 4 pot ally callipers and colour coded stainless brake lines all over
> norris minor dash (sounds wierd but it reallt works) cut to be a perfect fit
> magnolia clock
> incar bleed valve
> remote servo
> 16 point roll cage
thats all i can think of but im sure theres more

ill put picture of the resto up if i figure out how to do it, im looking to increase the power soon but not sure what route to take

I drive a 1985 Mini Ritz, 41000 miles with 1 elderly lady owner. Just a few cosmetic mods made by me tastefully done.
