I currently have a 1275 mini spite on a k plate
It has a straight threw stainless exhaust an 12 inch alloys

My future plans are to
restore the body work
make it look like a standard mini from the outside
Strip the inside of everything I dont need
Install roll cage + bucket seats
Convert engine to a front wheel drive yamaha R1 beast :-)

Current project stage- awaiting planning permission for my garage :(

I dont drive it yet but ive got a absolutly mashed original 1275gt 79 which i saved from iminent scrap yard heaven. i found it in a old collapsing asbestdos garage, it had a old green matress on the top and all windows were smashed out aswell as the head lamps, I was felt so sorry for the thing that i had to have it even though it was in a complete disgraceful condition. Bargin though....150quid!? thats what i thought at the time, further inspection shows that both subframes have gone the engine is seazed and rust, dont get me started lets just say that the flore consists of carpet....thats it. Its my fist ever project and im not goin to quit like all the other people that have projects on ebayy. i will have to get some photos sorted.

Stripey, what a nice and "vintage" Mini you have!

What is that outside colour? It is not Racing Green, isn't it?

Not sure what green the Stripey is done in.... >_<

Hello Mini Fans!

My name is Ryan, I'm 18 and just brought my first mini a 1988 Austin Mini City E 1000. Its called Florence I promised to keep the name from the lady i brought it off needs a little work but its brilliant fun to drive! I'm gonna keep it as original as possible but have a nice exhaust system and few little bits and pieces on the engine like a speed o graph air filter just to perk up the 998cc engine :) its faded red but I'm gonna give it a nice green color like BRG!

Could anyone give me an info on the original extra on the 88 city please any link or knowledge will be welcome!

HAPPY MINI-ING!! :D
