[TypeR_Mini]

Hello from Canada!

Rolling in a '78 Mini 1000. Currently building a b16a motor for future swappage! It also helps i work for a Honda dealership here so finding parts is a breeze. Motor will be getting Civic TypeR pistons (11:1 Compression) not sure of what to do with the head yet, will probably leave it stock for the time being. Currently in search of 13" tires to fit on an 8" rim any suggestions? looking for lowest profile possible.

I drive a 93 mini cooper spi, totally original spec inside. Racing green with white roof.

Currently working through (well my new mechanic mate is) fixing little niggly issues as it's not been looked after in recent years.

I drive a 1996 mini sprite in green, the only mods ive done to it is put superlights on it, stone guards on the head lamps, im just polishing an alloy rocker cover at the moment, and ive bought a mountney steering wheel and an aston fuel cap.

Im looking to do more stuff to it im just not too sure. I dont really want to hack it about too much.

ive got a 1996 mini mayfair 1.3 spi. i have a file full of mods and fixes worth around £2500 ive had my car since march i think.


Mods that i can remember:

Alloy door lock surrounds
Under seat speaker board red, with speakers:P
red carpet
black boot liner
piper induction kit
flecher stainless bigbore
flecher stainless de-cat
a fancy radio cant remeber what lol with hands free!
red wheel arch covers
stainless foglight bracket
stainless coil bracket
wipac lights
8mm spark cables
starmag alloys, need money for miglia arches and yoko tires.
chromed washer jets and plugs
stainless heavy duty wipers
mounty steering wheel with chromed centre cap
black leather hand bresk and geat stick gators
minisport short shift. DONT BUY ONE THEIR CRAP, im having it re threaded for the second time tomorrow.

5 switch chrome surround with cigarett lighter


next will be a new paint job, starmags on, replace fuel pump,rolling road set up, spot lights, white stripes, white rooft and mirrors and then bore the engine out i suppose with twin carbs

Ill keep everything so i can put it back to original in the future!


ant remember anything else at the moment.

most of its been replacing old with new and fixing the engine lol SPI's ! once somthing goes everything else follows.
