It's to do with car tax, you still need it, you just get it free.

You always need insurance.

1967 Morris Mini Deluxe.

No major mechanical Mods, it has a new 1100cc engine which has only done 40,000 miles and runs like a dream, I have Cooper S disc brakes on 12" alloys which look great.

Interior: Retrimmed red velour Porsche 928 seats in the front and the standard mini bench in the back has been retrimmed in the same material, a Union Jack gear knob (which goes down well here in Australia... :P ), also had some inertia reel seat belts fitted just for ease and comfort.

Exterior: nothing big just some beautiful chrome bullet mirrors. Not great for visability but look fantastic.

Just for fun: I have also fitted a 110db AHOOOGA horn... People don't expect it from my little mini, so much fun.

Don't have any major plans with her, just want to keep her in good condition and running well. Maybe a seperate Cooper S project further down the line.

1986 mini City E
1275 MG metro Engine with mini sports head
Zeemax body kit blended in
13 inch alloys
Sports exhaust in the middle

Had twin honda fireblades carbs in it, but have now changed it to regular SU carb with a K&N filter. Alot easier to tune and drive. Although it has lost a bit of low end torque.

It had ford puma seats in it, which I think were too big for the car. Could reach the handbrake between the seats. I've just got 94 cooper seats to be fitted in. Also, one of my mates gf has agreed to make a custom wooden dashboard for it.

I am now looking for the 3 clock instrument cluster for it - ideally a 94 cooper sport one.

Interior is sorted and looking AMAZING!!! Now all I need to do is sort my engine so it doesnt sound like an Ice-cream van and get the body done. Need the wheel arches done (rusting quite bad) and need a respray so if anyone wants to help out with any of that then let me know!! I want my beautiful baby completed by London to Brighton 2012!!!

You people with you huge list of Minis are so selfish ;) it's not like you couldn't throw one my way, baby Roxy gets lonely on her own lol.

On that note...Roxy is a Mini Sprite (96 1.3i).
