hello everyone. new to all this but my mini is a class 4 autograss car with a 1071ccengine, 45 sidedraught weber carb on a longford inlet manifold, 12g940 stage 4 head, 296 scatter cam, lcb long exhaust manifold, jack knight straight cut close ratio box and idlers, quaiffe lsd, and 3 core alloy rad!! loads more spec with around 83 bhp. However, what I was wondering if anyone knows is can I use mobil 1 0w30 engine oil instead of the recommended 20w50? The oil will be changed after every race meeting meaning it will never do more than 20 miles!! Any help will be gratefully appreciated as I am new to racing, Cheers. Graham.

I'll be driving my bone stock 1978 Mini 1000 come spring, but for now we have a loaded 2011 MINI S with JCW Package, DDM exhaust and Intake. (The wife's car) and my other car is a 2005 Mazda3 with a CAI and Flowmaster exhaust.

Hello!

Im a complete noobie to this forum and any forum to do with minis. I dont actually drive one yet but i have had at least 4 but only ever drove 1. My latest one is a Mini cooper which cost me £450 and has big plans to be powered by a Toyota 4EFTE engine. I would love to hear from anyone else in the UK who has done this conversion and anyone in the world who has done it in a roundnose?!

Anyway My names David and i am sure i will be asking plenty of questions so please be patient with me.

Thanks.

Hey my name is Alfie i have been driving a 1980 Mini for a year now and love it to bits, its in the style of Mr. Bean and has been tricked out a bit.

It appears a hole has developed in the exhaust manifold so it drives for about 400 yards then appears to drown and cut out
