Old one off, new one on. Very simple. They have three little lugs on the back which slip into holes in the bonnet, and which on your original badge may have retaining clips to remove. But the wings badge doesn't need the clips as it is held on with 3M tape, the lugs just align it.

It won't be so easy with a very old car though. Like a Mk1 / 2 Austin or Morris with the more elaborate badges.

I took my badge off. Filled the holes.

Lets face it, there's no confusion as to what car it is.

Lewis, They're tiny little holes.. On mine I did it with a splat of fibreglass and PP, but now being able to weld, I'd just dob a couple of spots on the back and grind down...

Same for remoing the badge of the boot too...

Boot badges have been glued on for years and years. Id doubt ther'll be holes for yours.

Personally I don't like debadged cars, but thats just me.

Minicooperman, as long as you make sure the paint is well clean first (use tar remover, panel wipe or something similar) then the badge will stick damn hard. If it is new that is, and no one has taken it off a car and put some dodgy aftermarket tape on the back. The original 3M tape is really sticky. Make sure you get it lined up properly before you put it on though, 'because it ain't moving a lot once it's pressed down.
