Most people simply do a engine swap or simply throw a turbo on.
But you have what i call "brains" man to undertake an experiment like this takes time and patience.Well done i wish more people had this type of ingenuity.
Post more pics once done PLEASE.

Yes its going to be a bit of an experiment but it isn't costing that much, well I dont think so but I'm quite a few years past student days, and if all go's wrong I sell the carbs back on.
I know a lot of people are using all four carbs on the likes of kit cars so I saw no reason why this shouldn't work and give me better fuel economy than the weber due to the SU type design - which is main reason for the change.
That and I always seem to want to tinker with something and SWMBO says I can't have another car so have to just alter and improve the one I have
Will take some more photos when fitting and when on rolling road, can't think of anything else to show you at the minute, roll on the 20th
Cheers

I know you've already answered a similar comment above, and i dont know about the carbs to be honest - but - surely it would pay off to try and space the carbs so that the are a straight feed into the inlets - like on traditional twin SU's or split webers. If it works well it would carry benifits from all the best bits of different carbs. Mainly the performance benifits of a weber (if not better) with the straight flow you get from having twin SU's or expensive split webers - all for a much more affordable price.

good luck anyway, hope all the work pays off at the RR

Just on a side note I didnt realise that a weber and inlet weighed so much! The bike ones are so much lighter
JetBlick - I may still space the carbs out, it was a thought in the first instance but the work involved will be a lot more with making the linkages, maybe next winter if I get bored!
refering back to previous Q about heat you can see the Bonnet vents in the last photo, and I also have a Turbo box fitted so there is a lot more air around the manifold (got turbo box welded in when I rebuilt car just incase I ever go down that route)

Really can't wait till the 20th, seems to have taken quite a while to get this far and the last week and a bit is really dragging.
As soon as the carbs are on thou I will then also have Megajolt to play with.
Not had them running as want to wait to make sure that they aint running rich/lean and so bugger the engine up on the way to the RR. Seeingas they are off a bike the settings could be all over the place and may even need some jets blocking up

Need to wire in the TPS from the bike carbs and do final fit but all on separate loom which just needs power and earth sorting out
