Roughly fitted the dash all wiring connected, everything works, set the speedo calibration up using a road angel :w00t:

Just got to securely fix it in place, going to have to sort some brackets as it doesnt fit as far back as normal due to the weber box.

Then need too fit some dash liner panels to finish it all off

Very pleased so far.

Think I did put somewhere that power is the same as with the weber but low down torque is much improved.

Don't have any vids of the engine running sorry

Hey there matey. I got sent a link to your thread as I was asking about bike carbs. So much usful info. I got the idea from building my kit car and concidering this route for the pinto engine. So just thought why the hell not put them on the mini as well. What I need to know though is do you need to modify the bulk head for these to fit? i.e fit the bulk box. And also could you send me through some manifold info please. sizes bends angle's and anything else that could be of help. my pm is [email protected] or message on here to hardcoremini

You don't need a bulkhead box for the set up I have - I had a weber before which is the reason for the box in my car.

Manifold was made for me I dont really have sizes etc it was made to fit the space available. If you check the photos you can see the carbs were temp held in place while the manifold was fabricated to fit the gap.

Sorry for not being to much help but it all depends on the set-up your trying to run.

cheers

Am looking at using motorcycyle carbs on a crossflow head (namely the aussie ken elder 7 port just released).

Wanted to know which ones would be suitable so that no modifications are necessary to the roundnose bonnet.

I.e i think amals will fit under the bonnet but am unsure if you can use air filters.

If air filters cannot be used does anyone know of at other motorcycle carbs that will fit undet the bonnet and allow fitment (after making a custom filter box i guess) of air filters.

Regards
