That swift conversion sure is a good one! I am always surprised by the power that these little engines can produce too. Are they hard to find in scrappies??

No they are not hard ro find, you can see them on ebay as well people breaking them. I got everything that was needed for £300 so all we are paying for is metal for the frame and new pipes and extras to get it going thats it!

Well after a day off, we have now sorted where the gear stick is going, and cut the two rods to the right length and tack welded their final position. Having found where one was rubbing on the body we notched it and angled it. Both rods and exhaust look like they are going to fit down, the middle of the car. We might! have the exhaust finished tomorrow lol Not got a lot left to do. But ed and i will be picking up some other bits on sunday at the show.

Well today see's the final position of the exhaust and clutch cable. Gear selector, exhaust need welding which we will do tomorrow. But as for the clutch cable, we have to wait to see how it works when the engine runs, as we need to see if any adjustment is needed! This pretty much leaves us with Brake cylinder, Cooling, Electrics, Drive Shafts and then Body work. And then the final tune up. Pics tomorrow.
