Metal came today, so we've made a start on the engine mounts, should be mounting them tomorrow and then taking out engine to weld up frame!

We have pretty much got the mounts mocked up, but we changed the rubber mounts we originally intended to use for bobbin style ones.
So we made wood ones temporarily, rubber ones should turn up tomorrow, along with some other bits. :)

Well we've finished the mounts for the engine, and we'll be welding the frame tomorrow. After EDs rolling road that is lol. More on that later. We have had some new bits arrive today. Pics on the way

So thats the final design? I cant help but think thats a nasty angle for the bar that goes round the sump. Are you putting some brace bars in to share the load in case of a front end impact??

Yes we will be putting brace bars on. We are trying to get hold of smudger for a front end but, we've had no reply as yet, so we are going to have to wait for that, before we can place them. Ed knows more about it lol. So we shall see.
