Hehe you're really the Easter bunny aren't you! You can't fool me :(

I'm gonna say it will because Ed is a mechanical genius, and then if it doesn't you could say it was because you didn't want to buy anymore eggs :)

I would like to know (for future reference)...

Will that Mini radiator with no fan, cool the engine enough?

Or is it an uprated one? Im unsure if my radiator from my 998 will cool my Suzuki engine enough, although I do plan to mount it in the same area as you have, behind the grille.

Oh and good luck starting her up!

Yes we are going to get a thin electric radiator. I have the scooby scoop to so that will help cooling to.

I will add an electric fan to the list of parts then.

So when are we all going to see the beast running?

Cumon! I check every other hour for an update!

And a few more questions, cause I know you love them... From my quick measurements, it looks as if the throttle position sensor on the Suzuki Inlet may foul the brake master cylinder.. How have you got around this??

And also, I know you have no inner wings as you have chopped them, but what are you doing about an air filter? Cause again, the standard Suzuki unit looks as if it's going to foul the inner wings..

Keep it up!!

Well the brake cylinder doesn't snag. Because we have chopped the standard suzuki manifold and used samco hose instead. And as for the filter we will be getting an ITG one, we are going to get a blank plate and make the holes ourselves.

As for the starting of the beast, we are checking all electrics to see if things are ok. We got the ecu loaded up and into the car, we are hoping to have it running soon. Maybe tonight fingers crossed.

Bugger, im using standard injection so throttle bodies and filters dont apply to mine.

Hmm.

Any luck starting it?

We had a go, at it last night, first time we weren't getting any rpm readings, then we found that only two injectors were firing. Ed got it running for a couple of seconds, but nothing major. We also had backfire as well, and this blew out one of liquid metal plugs, we used to block the old injector holes. A bit more tinkering and we should have it up and running. Just some small bugs that need sorting. And battery has died so we are charging it to.

Well James doesnt know it yet but ive got it running!! ^_^
Ive even taken a vid (well mum did) of it starting and idling at 650rpm,
and the squealing is one of the belts rubbing (needs adjusting).

Give the vid an hour or so to become active.
