I need to get some quotes done for my, the council damaged it and have agreed to pay out. It needs body work attention and a new spray job. does anyone know of a paint/bodyshop who would send someone out to me in Swindon who could write up a quote that I could submit? As I said It makes life so muc heasier if they can come out to me rather than me having to get it sorted to take to them.

I need to 3 quotes so dont be shy in recomending people!

Speak to Jamieread on here, he had a job done by Vic Reeves recently and will put you in contact with him! Does excellent work as i have used him in the past
Also Contact Wolfie as he has a bodyshop that does good work in swindon too

Got my quotes sorted. Just waiting for them to arrive. Not to sure about Vic, Might have to get another one done. He doesnt seem that sure about the body kit and I think he might actually under charging meaning I wont get much back from the council.

the other 2, Spray by design and Sprayrite say it will be around £2500 (new Zeemax bodykit and spray job etc.


by the way I have choosen to respray in the colour of the BMW I have attached the picture of, whats everyone think? Sexy huh?

Very nice! As for Vic, he's a nice chap who does good honest jobs but if you're having it done due to an insurance claim then get the most for your money!

Yeah I got on well with him. Had a chat for a while. hes a dimond geezer. But if his not sure about doing the bodykit i might not be using him. Think I might send my clubby estate off to him though.

Also got my new steering wheel today. Its so sexy!

he did well on my old clubby but that only involved arches and a FG bonnet!! Nevery really wanted the whole kit thing with my mini's!

Thanks. I just itching to finish the KOD father off now. Got the wheels and the quotes coming.

just got to send quotes off to council, get the money get the car off to spray by design then when it comes back just a few finsihing touches and it will be back on road! cant wait.
but it could take a month or it could take a year to finish sorting out. Who knows! its the not knowing that kills me!

At least the clubby estate is all on me. Its up to me to get that sorted. Might ask Vic to spray it and sort a few panels for me. He needs to change this into this!
