i guess if you have a K series/V tec conversion using a metro front subframe then the metro stearing rack would fit

this might be a stupid question but i must ask:
can the steering from the BINI work?
if so how much would that conversion cost?

mgf tf's had electric power steering!! im sure there is a way to adapt a sensitivity switch to the cpu on the column so that it could be adjusted by the driver!!! i think the column is slightly longer than that of a mini tho but not necesarily a bad thing!!

I'm looking into this at the moment and have a coupe of Corsa columns with electric PS in the workshop. However the spline forms are differnet between Corsa and Mini (not suprising) so its not a bolt on conversion.

So - does the MGF use the same splines as a mini? I know the top of the column is the same as an MPi and I don't believe the MPi had a different rack (apart from Sportspacks) so would an MGF column fit a standard mini rack?

late metros/mgtf's have smaller spline arrangment but using a metro/mgtf rack wouldnt be such a bad idea, would make it less dangerous because it will be less twitchy!! minis 2.7 turns is fine with no power assistance but with it a sudden steering movement could be fatal!!
