I have got some more suitable tube for free and want to make up door bars, a rear cross member and a front cross member that goes parrallel to the bottom dash rail under my Carbon dash.
These brackets/clamps/thingys must be from something like stage scaffolding, temporary fencing or garden climbing frame or swing structure or something? I have been scouring the world but can't see anything suitable.
Does anyone know what or where they are from?
or
Does anyone know where I can get something that will do the same job?
The diammeter of the tube is about 2inches

...but when fitting them in a hurry, my mate, who is now known as 'p1ss flap w@nk face' placed the jack precariously and it slipped. He trapped his hand between the un fixed near side wheel and the wheel arch Luckily (I suppose) it cracked my wheel arch and didn't do any permanent damage to his hand.
However, it cracked the paint on that perfectly blended arch and the jack has done some serious jiggery pokery.
The front wheels now don't sit inline. I think the subframe may be bent but I will investigate!

Nah, I would of thought of it the other way around, he's always got a spare hand, and by the sounds of it he doesn't use he's brain much so what good are his hands anyway!! Let him be a one handed socail outkast!!....Luckily (I suppose) it cracked my wheel arch and didn't do any permanent damage to his hand.

I have a new saying:Nice wheels, love those anthracite centres, accidents happen....they always seem to happen to your archs though!
If you blend it...
...be prepared to mend it!

Still have wiring issues tho.
But I'm off to the rollers next month
Despite the gueswork mixture, the car performed brilliantly at Lydden at the start of the month!

I will get my mate to e-mail the pic.
Bit of shoddy work on the arches tho, they are far too high at the back!
