Just through Ebay, nice bloke, his Clubman is coming on well. He said he was picking up a GT this morning as well, which I'm going to e-mail him about for favminigirl.

Have you thought about coming to one of the TMF Kent meets? I'd sure love to find out more about that minus of yours.

Hi Ali

I should get my 1380 back with new clutch tomorrow (hopefully I will need it for work on Tuesday!). So anytime you want to take that trip to Hastings I should be ready. We'll have to get our heads together and sort out a day!

I think if we post up the date on the forum then if anyone else fancies coming along the more the merrier I reckon.

Yep sounds good.
Can't take too many people tho, because it's a proper rolling road tuning session not just to get a bhp figure. Gerald says it takes a while to get each car running as best as it possibly can.
But it's only £80.

Hello mate

Phoned mechanic due to lack of car on Monday. He said he had trouble removing the flywheel because one of the threads was stripped, so another flywheel required. Still considering wether it will be worth splashing out on a steel lightweight one or to get a standard second hand one? Also he said the root of the clutch problems is down to the primary gear having a bit of play on it, so suggested getting another one or the clutch will revert back to having problems again. Hope to source some parts on Thurs. when I'm off next.
Hope to catch up with you tomorrow (Wed.) to discuss possible dates.

'£80 ' what a bargain!!

you could alwaysd get a std flywheel and have it lightened. This wont anywhere near as light at a billit one but you can still notice the difference over std

Mini is back on the road!!!!!!!

As some of you may or my not know my mini was broken into whilst it was off the road getting some upgrades.

The upgardes are now finished and I've borrowed some wheels from a friend and he is good to go.

Well here is my new brakes. Solid discs, grooved and cross drilled with non-vented 4 pot callipers (or rocking horse poo  ) and black stuff pads. Used the goodridge braded hose line conversion. Nice

... and here is the ratchet strap that now holds my boot on, after some M1nge-faces ripped the boot off to see what was in it. But he is on the road and living at his new address. My mums house. Soon he will be joined by the rest of his friends, my tools, until I have moved house.

Any one want to buy my house, nice area. Honest.

Sorry for the delay Ian, lets book the rollers session for next month! I'll ring you end of this month.

My mate should come in his clubby, We re-conditioned my old gas-flowed, ported, polished, big valve head, it is now on his 1275 and goes like stink. Should be a good day.

Wahoo! Just got back from Rolling Road session at Gerald Dale Motorsport. He is brilliant and sorted my car out a treat.
It's just short of 90bhp at 6250 rpm!
Real nice spread of power now

And just look at this torque curve, it's incredible. Straight to 80 Ib per ft and stays there throughout the rev range.
The car is a total weapon now!
