I know my mate has a pic! Some w@nker has copied it. It is uncanny! Was it definately a minus Ade because it doesn't look that small. Could be an FRA shell? Got no bonnet bulges either.
I will get my mate to e-mail the pic.
Bit of shoddy work on the arches tho, they are far too high at the back!

Not sure mate to be honest I only had a quick look at the photo! I'll see if I can find it again and have a closer look :fear:

What an arse-hole. Must have copied the pics from here, or it's mag feature maybe?

At least he buggered up those rear arches. You could get a small child in that rear arch gap!

Its not a minus, front end is wrong for a start, and its a standard height body!

It aint a minus either. My mates tell me it is grp with a flip front. I have a photo of it next to two other cars and it's the same height. so could be an FRA of something

He's put a flip front on so it would look different to a normal minus :D

In that picture it does look a little lower than the car behind and it looked to be on the 13's when the car behind looks like it's on 10s....

But if you've seen another pic of and it's next to other cars then fair enough

Just to play devils advocat, maybe he built his a long time ago or something? There isn't much proof saying he exactly copied yours Ade, but I know how annoying it is to find someone with a copy of your own custom mini!!

No it's a newly finished car, and my minus's body has been on the show scene since it's mini mag feature in 99. So plenty of chance to see it and immitate it.
It makes me sick, what a looser

Ahh, I see. I was speaking to your mate, Al, over in Canterbury. I bought the rear rollcage off him, he was telling me how you took him out in the 1340 (?) the other night. Glad to hear you've got it running well now!

Ah, that's Gez. Did you meet him at Kentish Mini Club, or just through ebay?

It's this minus he was in, 1380 stage 3. And yes after months of agony, with this engine it is finally running sweet and is ready for the rollers. I expect at least 100bhp on the SU but we'll see.
